Suzanne Stannett

Suzanne’s experience in other areas of law gives her an “edge” over other practitioners who have only ever practiced in family law because often other areas of law come into play during a family law case. She became an Accredited Specialist in Family Law (Qld) in 2005, a Mediator of Disputes (QLS) in 2006 and a Graduate of the Barrister’s Practice Course (Qld) in 2006. Sue has direct knowledge and experience in family law, not just as an expert in the field, but also as someone who has gone through the legal process and out the other side into the day to day reality of a blended family. She is the proud mother of two children and three step-children.

Sue loves nothing better in her personal time than to “Netflix” with a particular liking for docuseries such as “Making a Murderer”, “The Staircase” and “Abducted in Plain Sight”.
