Domestic Violence Court Process Videos

The Attorney General and Minister for Justice Yvette D’Ath and Dame Quentin Bryce have launched a series of videos which explain, in plain English, the court process for making domestic violence orders. The videos explain the court process for all participants as well as provide a valuable resource to front line services who support victims and provide information and advice to perpetrators.

To reach the intended audience, at a time they are seeking this information, The Queensland Government is asking Legal Aid Qld preferred suppliers to publish the link to the videos on their websites.

Over the next few days, the Department of Justice and Attorney General will also be using their social media platforms to further promote the videos.  You are encouraged to share far and wide, where appropriate, to get the message out to people affected by domestic and family violence.
